Solar Storage Solutions

Panasonic Solar Storage Solutions feature relays that are ideal for reducing energy consumption for commercial and residential use. These relay families from Panasonic help capture energy and store it to perform operations in the future. These solar storage systems involve converting many forms of energy, including electrical potential energy or kinetic energy, into cost-effective storable formats for short- and long-term use. Solar inverter systems are also used to convert the direct current (DC) of a photovoltaic (PV) solar panel into an alternating current (AC). This is then fed into commercial and residential electrical grids. Panasonic offers a variety of relays designed to optimize solar storage system performance.

HE-S Series Power Relays

Panasonic HE-S Series Power Relays are the industry's smallest and lowest operating power multi-contact high-capacity power relays. The HE-S Series features a high-capacity resistive switching load rating of 40A at 277VAC rating. The 40A at 277VAC rating is 1K cycles for both standard and long-life types. The relays also feature a mirror contact structure (compliant with EN60947-4-1) which uses a 2 Form A coupled with a 1 Form B contact arrangement. The Panasonic HE-S Series has a normally open contact gap of 3.2mm, which makes this relay VDE0126 compliant with European photovoltaic standards and meets the 2.5kV surge breakdown voltage between contacts required to be compliant with the EN61810-1 Industry standard.
