APO 1000V Pyro Fuse

Schurter APO 1000V Pyro Fuse is a safety device engineered for high-voltage DC applications, offering exceptional reliability and high safety. This fuse ensures the safe disconnection of battery circuits in the event of abnormal conditions, such as short circuits or collisions. The APO fuse actively responds by triggering a micro gas generator to sever the copper busbar and safely suppress arcs within milliseconds. This Pyro fuse is housed in PA6 with a bolt-on A mounting and features copper alloy and tin-plated terminals. The APO Pyro fuse features 400A rated current, 1000VDC rated voltage, and <100mA monitoring current. Typical applications include Electric Vehicles (EVs), conventional vehicle electrical systems, charging infrastructure, Photovoltaic (PV) and Energy Storage Systems (ESS), fuel cell technologies, and aerospace (including eVTOL).
