ADAQ7980/ADAQ7988 μModule® Data Acquisition System
Analog Devices Inc. ADAQ7980/ADAQ7988 μModule® Data Acquisition Systems are designed as 1MSPS/500kSPS 16-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) μModule data acquisition systems that combine four common signal processing and conditioning blocks in a system in package (SiP) design to support a wide range of applications. The devices include a high accuracy 16-bit SAR ADC, a high bandwidth, high input impedance ADC driver, a stable reference buffer, and an efficient power management block. A configurable ADC driver feedback loop enables gain and/or common-mode adjustments. The highly integrated design ensures that the ADAQ7980/ADAQ7988 μModule Data Acquisition Systems include the most important passive components in achieving specified device performance. As a result, the devices eliminate many design challenges associated with traditional signal chains with successive approximation register (SAR) ADCs.
