Lightning strikes, inductive load switching, and ESD cause electrical over-stresses associated with the transmission on data lines and electronic circuits. Offered in a variety of surface mount and through-hole circuit board mounting formats, the TVS Diode portfolio includes high peak pulse current and peak pulse power options up to 20kA and 30kW, respectively. Littelfuse TVS Diodes are chosen for the fast response time (low clamping voltage), lower capacitance, and low leakage current. Littelfuse TPSMA6L Transient Voltage Suppression (TVS) Diodes can provide secondary transient voltage protection from transients induced by load dump and other transient voltage events for sensitive electronics. Littelfuse TPSMA6L Transient Voltage Suppression (TVS) Diodes deliver high reliability application and are automotive grade AEC-Q101 qualified.This SMA device's low profile DO-221AC package is less than 1.1 mm high, but it offers the same peak pulse power dissipation (PPPM) rating (600W) as standard SMB devices.
