Digi Connect EZ 4 WS Medical Serial Server allows seamless serial-over-Ethernet connectivity, streamlining the integration of patient device data into hospital EMRs and other downstream systems. The EZ 4 WS was developed for use in patient care environments and complies with IEC 60601 3rd Edition standards while featuring four RS-232 serial ports. The Digi Connect EZ WS also supplies reliable Ethernet connectivity for serial devices, guaranteeing secure data transmission to central management systems. Digi’s RealPort^® technology facilitates seamless and secure communication between a host computer and networked serial devices by forming a local COM or TTY port. This connection provides reliable data transmission while delivering system administrators advanced control over incoming, outgoing, and Telnet sessions on each port.
