Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) EVL1653N-TF-00A Evaluation Board

Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) EVL1653N-TF-00A Evaluation Board demonstrates the performance of the MP1653N synchronous step-down converter. The board supports a 4.5V to 16V input voltage range and delivers up to 3A of continuous output current. Constant-on-time control enables fast transient response and tight output regulation for efficient power conversion.

The MPS EVL1653N-TF-00A includes protection features such as short-circuit, over-current, under-voltage, and thermal shutdown. The design requires only a few standard external components and uses an ultra-small SOT563-package device. Operating at a 1.1MHz switching frequency, the board achieves up to 94.0% peak efficiency and 91.8% full-load efficiency, making it suitable for evaluating compact, high-performance power supply designs.
