Amphenol Industrial UQD/UQDB/BMQC/LQC/MQD Liquid Cooling Connectors

Amphenol Industrial UQD/UQDB/BMQC/LQC/MQD Liquid Cooling Connectors are designed to exceed Open Compute Project (OCP) specifications. These quick-disconnect couplings are constructed with aerospace-grade sealing materials and provide a bidirectional shut-off valve and dry break for enhanced protection against accidental spillage or drips. Both the shell and the spring are made from stainless steel to resist corrosion and increase component longevity, while the leak-free design and high flow rate are ideal for high-reliability equipment that uses liquid cooling. The UQD connectors feature a precision ball-lock mechanismfor secure, leak-resistant connections between server nodes and cooling manifolds. The UQDB variant offers blind mating and advanced sealing materials to ensure a drip-free, high-integrity connection. Both types of these Amphenol connectors are suitable for AI data servers, energy storage systems (ESS), and electric vehicle (EV) charging stations.

The Blind Mate Quick Connector (BMQC) series are designed in accordance with the Open Rack V3 BMQC specification revision 1.0 for critical liquid cooling interfaces between data center rack servers and distribution manifolds. These variants accommodates ±5mm radial misalignment and ±2.7° angular misalignment, enabling smooth blind-mate engagement in high-density configurations.

The LQC series are designed to the OCP Large Quick Connector Specification v1.0 for ecosystem compatibility. These variants offer a 20mm nominal flow path supports AI-class throughput with low pressure drop, while a screw-to-connect mechanism provides controlled engagement, tactile confirmation, and vibration resistant retention.

The MQD series are offered in two geometries: 02 straight and 03 right-angle, both featuring an ultra-small outside diameter to ease routing in dense layouts and to meet aggressive z-height envelopes.
