Melexis MLX90642 Thermal IR Sensors

Melexis MLX90642 Thermal Infrared (IR) Sensors are fully calibrated 32x24 pixels thermal imaging array. These sensors provide 768 Far-Infrared (FIR) pixels that translate into detailed thermal images and allow for accurate temperature mapping of the environment. The MLX90642 sensors use global shutter readout to ensure all pixels capture data simultaneously and minimize motion artifacts to provide a consistent thermal image. These sensors feature 45°x35° and 110°x75° Field of View (FoV), high Signal-to-Noise ratio (SNR), I2C compatible digital interface, and 2Hz to 16Hz programmable refresh rate. The MLX90642 sensors are used in food monitoring in Microwave ovens, intrusion/movement detection, busbar monitoring, and temperature sensing in air conditioning.
