Melexis MLX90833 Absolute Pressure Sensors
Melexis MLX90833 Absolute Pressure Sensors feature Triphibian™ technology, enabling the robust measurement of gas and liquid media from 2bar to 70bar, all within a compact, RoHS-compliant SO16 package. These factory-calibrated sensors provide absolute pressure readings with a LIN digital output to simplify integration for heat pump manufacturers. The MLX90833 is inherently more robust than rear-side exposed solutions and includes a sensor readout circuit, voltage regulators, and digital hardware. The modules deliver a digital output using the LIN protocol (option for LIN 2.x, ISO 17987, LIN 1.3, or SAE J2602). The sensors also offer advanced protective mechanisms against overvoltage (above +40V) and reverse voltage (below -40V), making the components suitable for truck applications. Melexis MLX90833 Absolute Pressure Sensors are designed as a Safety Element out of Context (SEooC) per ISO 26262, enabling up to ASIL B system integration to meet electric vehicle (EV) safety demands.Features
