Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MP4571 High-Efficiency Synchronous Buck Converters

Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MP4571 Synchronous Buck Converters are fully integrated, high-efficiency, fixed-frequency synchronous step-down converters with up to 1A of continuous output current with peak current control for excellent transient response. The series features a wide 4.5V to 60V input voltage range and a 2μA shutdown mode quiescent current. The 12-pin QFN package integrates internal high-side and low-side power MOSFETs for high efficiency without the need for an external Schottky diode. Other features include built-in soft-start, enable control, power good (PG) indicator, high duty cycle, and low-dropout mode. The series offers overcurrent protection (OCP) with valley current detection and prevents current runaway. The converters have hiccup short-circuit protection (SCP), input undervoltage lockout (UVLO), and auto-recovery thermal protection. MPS MP4571 buck converters are ideal for battery-powered applications.
