NXP Semiconductors MCX L14 Microcontrollers - Coming Soon
NXP Semiconductors MCX L14 Microcontrollers are ultra-low-power MCUs built for always-on sensing in industrial and commercial edge devices. The MCUs combine an Arm® Cortex®-M33 core running up to 48MHz with an autonomous sense domain powered by an Arm Cortex-M0+ core up to 10MHz, allowing low-power data acquisition and peripheral activity while the main core remains in Deep Power Mode.
The dual-domain architecture helps reduce event-triggering power consumption and also provides physical separation between sensing, processing, and communication tasks. NXP Semiconductors MCX L14 MCUs also integrate EdgeLock® security capabilities for secure boot and hardware-accelerated cryptography. At the same time, MCUXpresso Developer Experience support helps simplify configuration, development, and deployment for low-power embedded systems.
The NXP MCX L14 MCUs are suited for industrial and commercial sensors, building safety detectors, home control panels, smoke and fire alarms, flow meters, smart appliances, and motion detectors. The MCX L14 supports up to 256kB of flash and up to 64KB of SRAM, with package options including 100-pin LQFP and VFBGA variants for compact, low-power designs.
