Qorvo QPF4609E Wi-Fi® 7 Front End Module

Qorvo QPF4609E Wi-Fi® 7 Front End Module is an integrated front-end module (FEM) designed for Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) systems. The small form factor and integrated matching minimize layout area in the application. Performance optimizes the PA for a 5V supply voltage, minimizing power consumption to enable systems that use digital predistortion to achieve the highest linear output power and leading-edge RF chain throughput. This is done across a wide bandwidth, enabling operation across all UNII channels from UNII5 to UNII8 (5.925GHz to 7.125GHz).

Integrated for DPD feedback training, the module features a coupler with RF output. For power control a broadrange, constant slope voltage logarithmic power detector is provided for application feedback. The QPF4609E integrates a 6GHz power amplifier (PA), a single-pole two-throw (SP2T) switch, a coupler structure, and a bypassable low-noise amplifier (LNA) into a single device.
