Siemens SIRIUS 3RT29 Surge Suppressors
Siemens SIRIUS 3RT29 Surge Suppressors offer critical protection for DC and AC systems. These surge suppressors come in sizes S00 to S3 with or without an LED. Siemens SIRIUS 3RT29 Surge Suppressors can be plugged onto the front of size 00 contactors. Space is provided for the suppressors next to a snap-on auxiliary switch. Varistors, RC elements, or diode assemblies can be plugged onto the front of size S0 to S3 contactors.
Features
- S00 to S3 sizes with or without an LED (also for spring-loaded terminal)
- Contactors can be retrofitted with RC elements or varistors for damping opening surges in the coil
- Diodes or diode assemblies (comprising suppression diodes and Zener diodes for short break times) can be used
- Surge suppressors are plugged into the front of size S00 contactors; space is provided for them next to a snap-on auxiliary switch
- Varistors, RC elements, or diode assemblies can be plugged into the front of size S0 to S3 contactors (for size S3, the RC element is inserted on the front into the recesses to the left of the connection block)
- Coupling contactors are supplied either without overvoltage damping or with a suppressor diode, varistor, or diode connected as standard, according to the version
