Telit Cinterion FN990B40 M.2 LTE/5G Data Card is a next-generation 5G data card designed for future-ready broadband applications that require sub-6GHz 5G, Gigabit LTE, WCDMA, and GNSS support. The industrial-grade M.2 form factor conforms to high-performance enterprise and industrial deployments, including routers, gateways, fixed wireless access, CPE, mobile computing, professional broadcasting, and video surveillance.

The FN990B40 supports 3GPP Release 17 5G sub-6GHz FDD and TDD operation, with SA and NSA modes plus 5G core network options 3a/3x and 2 for broad network compatibility. The Telit Cinterion FN990B40 M.2 LTE/5G Data Card leverages the Qualcomm® Snapdragon® X72 5G Modem-RF System and supports deployment scenarios such as LTE and 5G NR dual connectivity, dynamic spectrum sharing between LTE and 5G, and network slicing.

The data card supports MIMO for 4G and 5G bands, GNSS with simultaneous L1 and L5 operation, four LTE and sub-6GHz antenna connectors with a shared GNSS path, and a standard M.2 NGFF form factor. The FN990B40 also supports 3GPP standard and proprietary Telit Cinterion AT commands, AppZone development, and planned regulatory, industry, and mobile network operator certifications.
