Phoenix Contact Modbus TCP/RTU to PROFINET Gateways allow different industrial protocols to work together in a single network. Serial device servers provide a simple pathway when migrating legacy serial devices to Ethernet protocols. The Modbus-to-PROFINET gateways offer seamless migration and intuitive web-based configuration for mapping Modbus data over to PROFINET. Integration is simple with a GDSML file that allows for a quick set up and transfer of data into the programming environment. Application Example
A PROFINET device server collects data from both a Modbus/RTU and Modbus/TCP slave. This data is then served up to a PROFINET master.
