TDK SPM-XT High-Current Power Inductors
TDK SPM-XT High-Current Power Inductors are magnetically shielded, wire-wound inductors for power circuits using a metallic magnetic material. The series offers large current specifications, low RDC, and compactness compared to ferrite wound-type inductors. The TDK SPM-XT inductors have lower hum noise than the core adhesive coils, and the low hum is made possible with metallic magnetic material and an integrated molded coil structure. Sizes range from 11.5mm x 10.0mm x 4.0mm to 13.0mm x 12.6mm x 6.5mm with an inductance range from 0.18µH to 2.8µH with ±20% tolerance. These power inductors are ideally suited for gaming equipment, base stations, servers, HDDs, industrial equipment, and more.Features
- Magnetic shield-type wound inductor for power circuits using a metallic magnetic material
- Achieves large current, low RDC, and compactness compared to ferrite wound-type inductors
- Low inductance variance in high-temperature environments with good DC superimposition characteristics
- Hum noise is lower than core adhesive coils through the use of metallic magnetic material and a structure with an integrated molded coil
- -40°C to +125°C operating temperature range (including self-temperature rise)
Applications
- Power supplies around the CPU
